Universal
Micro-Grant


Up to $3,000 as a micro-grant for various business improvements. Uses may include the purchase of equipment, software, hardware or technological enhancements.

Streetscape Grant

Up to $2,500 to enhance their business through the addition of landscaping enhancements (i.e., flowerpots, tree planter, street scape improvements etc.). Funds will be used to procure the selected improvements and will also provide partial resources for maintenance.

We recently updated our Business Grants for 2026 to better meet our neighborhood needs. Please find this year’s application below. All applications are due May 1,2026. DESCRIPTION OF GRANTS FOR NEW APPLICANTS

  • Facade Grant: Up to $7,500 will be provided to enhance storefronts. Uses may include window or door repairs/ improvements, signage, awnings, and exterior lighting. The grant recipient must use a licensed contractor. This is a reimbursement-grant and businesses will be reimbursed with the work is complete and the appropriate reporting is submitted. This grant is for businesses that have previously not received a grant from the Midtown CDC. Only three grants new facade grants will be awarded in 2026. Facade grantees are not also eligible for micro-grants in the same year.
  • Universal Micro-Grant: Up to $3,000 as a micro-grant for various business improvements. Uses may include the purchase of equipment, software, hardware or technological enhancements. Enhancements must be approved prior to purchasing and a detailed plan must be submitted with the application. Only the approved items will be reimbursed. This grant is a reimbursement grant.

DESCRIPTION OF GRANTS FOR RETURNING BUSINESS APPLICANTS

  • Continued UP-grades Grant: Businesses that have previously been awarded a Facade Grant and have continued exterior renovation needs, can apply for a Continuation Grant. This is capped at $3,000 and can be applied for annually.
  • Continued Business UP-grade Grant: These are for businesses that have previously received a microgrant and are seeking funds to support ongoing upgrades and enhancements. These could be technology, equipment, etc. This is capped at
    $2,000 and can be applied for annually.
